Google Ads Specialist
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Google Ads Specialist. This role is a unique opportunity to take over the management of a successful portfolio of client accounts, with a focus on long-term performance and growth. The ideal candidate is an expert in the Google Ads ecosystem who can manage the entire ad lifecycle, from strategic planning and setup to rigorous optimization and comprehensive reporting.
This role has the potential to grow into a long-term partnership with an expanding client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Onboarding & Strategy: Review client intake forms and conduct initial discovery to understand business goals, KPIs, and campaign strategy.
- Account & Campaign Setup: Build new Google Ads accounts, campaigns, ad groups, and ads from the ground up.
- Ad Copy & Creative: Develop compelling ad copy for Responsive Search Ads, Display, and YouTube/Video campaigns (with provided image and video assets).
- Technical Implementation: Set up and verify conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data collection for all key client actions (e.g. form submissions, phone calls, purchases).
- Performance Management & Optimization: Proactively monitor ad performance and make regular adjustments to bids, keywords, and ad copy to improve Quality Score, increase CTR, and drive a strong conversion rate.
- Reporting: Prepare clear and insightful monthly performance reports for clients, highlighting key results and providing strategic recommendations.
- Diverse Campaign Management: Oversee a variety of campaign types, including Search, Display, Remarketing, and YouTube Ads, as required.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing successful Google Ads campaigns.
- Google Ads Certifications in Search and Display are required.
- Exceptional ad copy and copywriting skills.
- A deep understanding of Quality Score and its impact on performance.
- Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for client reporting.
Bonus Skills:
- Google Ads Certification in Video (YouTube), Shopping.
- Meta Ads experience.
